What is that one meal, that will always take you back into your childhood?

I was making rice for Joe today for lunch, and I got to think about my favorite breakfast meal. My grandma always made me a mean bowl of rice and raisins, the smell of raisins with cinnamon.. Yum I so loved that meal so much!

There are too many meals to list. My mom is an awesome cook & my dad is Italian (also pretty good) so I ate pretty good. My husband has been out of town and my parents came over once last week and once this week already to bring me dinner. I love it!!!

my mama's porcupine meatballs. I have made them several times exactly according to her recipe and instructions and they still just never taste the same...

My mom sucks at cooking and only cooks 4 different things.
My faves are definately my paternal gmas pot roast and mashed potatos and gravy...omg yummmn
And my maternal gpas turkey and he would also make really delicious turkey and ham salad sandwiches using little rolls instead of sandwich bread. Well heck i think just everything he cooked I loved. He would always make me homemade chicken noodle soup and jello wigglers when i got sick.
Man i miss my grandparents
