I just wanted to thank you ladies for the prayers for DH's family after his grandpa passed and for our trip. After the nightmare we had on Friday, we made it to Ga at 6:30 Sat morning with enough time for a short nap and a shower before the funeral. It was a really nice service and the place was packed. His grandma did a lot better than we expected. I also did not lose it like a crazy person like I thought I might. I cried more than most people, but it was just tears, silent, so no one could really tell. Seeing DH cry was hard. Most people were fairly dry eyed until they played Taps. That was tough. But they had a nice time of visitation after and then the family went back to her house to spend time together. We even got a flight home last night to get to bed. My parents insisted that DD stay at their house last night so that we could sleep in this rnorning after being up all night Friday night.
All in all, things went much better than I expected once we finally got down there and I just wanted to say thank you all for your thoughts and prayers.
