i am having a hard time figuring out a boy name and So is not much help. His dad passed away and his name was Arlan so i think that will be the middle name _______ Arlan Kosok.
Just can't find anything that thrills me too much yet. I hope we can find something we boy like.

What style are you looking for? Top 100? Off the top 100 list?

Well i like names that are original, that you hardly ever hear and So like more traditional names, go figure. So something in between. Not too common but not too weird. I liked jackson but So says no.

I thought about hayden but is that a girls name?
I am just having a hard time finding something that really stands out like yup thats it.

I have a friend whose son's name is Hayden I think it's general neutral really. Our boys name was Hudson. We also liked Ryder, Orion, um lol I can't remember what else we had a long list. Try nymbler.com. You can put in inspiration names like what names you like and what names SO likes. It will then generate names based on those names.

I looked up boys names from the early 20th century, thinking some of those names might be unusual for now, but also traditional. It may be a good place for you to look for ideas. A few I thought sounded good with Arlon were Victor, Hugh, and Claude. They're all older names that are pretty uncommon now, but I'm not sure if you and SO like any of them. There are tons on the lists if that might be a helpful place to look. Good luck!

I was actually going to suggest Hayden in our buddy thread! I'm terrible with names. One second I love a name, the next I can't stand the same name. It's a wonder our hildren ever got named at all.

Try Baby Naming Wizard, Babynames.com, and the baby naming board here. They are all great sites.

Im sorry about your dad, I lost my dad late last year and Im having a bad day today. I am not naming baby girl after him as I have a name set for if we have another boy but Im going to use some part of his Chinese name I think

I like Nymbler a lot. You can also tell it names you hate sometimes I feel like it keeps giving me the same names even when I give different inspiration though. Despite that it is still my favorite baby name explorer site.

I think boy names are HARD. Why don't you both come up with a list of names you like and compare? I wrote down all the names I hated and made sure DH knew he couldn't pick any of those. DH wouldn't give me a list so he picked the name he liked best off of mine.

Boy names are hard! I know a Hayden that's a boy, I think it's more common for boys. DH and I went through the entire name book we had and wrote down only the names we could both agree on. We had a whopping 8 names out of the entire book on our list.
