Oh and the only reason DH and I agreed so quickly on a name was because after we found out that we were having a boy I had gender disappointment pretty bad and ended up in hysterics bawling that same night because my list of boy names that I liked was such a short list...two of those names were used by friends for their boys. One sounded funny with our last name. And the other was way too similar to our DDs name....so as much as I love that name we couldnt go with it. We ended up choosing a name that a friend of mine used with her youngest. And then we came up with the MN Kai because it was on a list of baby names that DH found listed as similar to Tristan. And the name kind of jumped out at us both. And secretly sometimes now I like that name more now but havent said anything to DH yet lol
One of my kids was 4 days old before we HAD to turn in the birth certificate form and HAD to pick something. Our ds, we had a name picked out, but after he was born, it just didn't feel right, so it got changed at the last minute. You have plenty of time. We are still trying to find something we like.
