So how much have you gained? Still have morning sickness? I've put on about 6-7 lbs. I did have horrible morning sickness until I was 12 weeks, lost about 7lbs but gained those back plus 6 more. When I was pregnant with DS I gained 50 lbs. I'm hoping not to go over 25lbs this time. My question is, is 6 lbs too little or fine? My Dr says its fine but I love to hear experiences.
I have only gained 3 lbs since last appt on 1/24. I was worried but doc said baby is growing fine so just make sure I am eating lots of good stuff. I will probably go in next week and have gained like 8 lbs this past month!
I am embarrassed to say how much I have gained... but at this point, my doc has not said anything. This is my 3rd baby, and with every baby I have gained a lot of weight (think like double or more what you are supposed to gain!!). My sister also had this same issue. I am exercising every day, unless I absolutely can't fit it in, and I try to eat healthy, etc. It is like my body just does it's own thing.
I just weighed myself last night so at 23 1/2 weeks I have gained 15lbs. This is the most I have gained at this point in any pregnancy. I gained the most during the first tri because I was carb loading trying to combat m/s. Bleh. But I am also trying to eat the best I can, but my body just seems to be taking over anyway lol. I am not too worried about it.
JaxonJocelyn Gabriel Grayson and due in September!
Around 6 lbs. Which with my lack of thyroid, I am quite happy with that amount of weight gain. The less I gain this pregnancy, the better since it's so hard for me to lose weight bc of this stupid metabolism I have (due to having no thyroid).
Had an appt on tuesday and have only now gained any weight over my pre-pregnancy. I lost 10lbs due to morning sickness in the first trimester. I've gained that back plus 1 pound. I'm quite overweight, so I'm very proud of this and the doctor is pleased as well. Someone of my size should really only gain 15-20lbs instead of the normal 25-30. So, if I gain a pound a week for the remainder of my pregnancy, I'll be fine. Also, I had my 3 hour glucose test on tuesday and heard back this morning that my numbers are great. I'm so excited that all is well!
