I had my 20 week ultrasound today and my appointment earlier this week. I am finally back at my pre-pregnancy weight and everything else looks great.
She is growing perfectly and we were able to get all the measurements that were needed. I even have a picture of her corneas. The ultrasound technology is amazing.
My sequential screening results are negative, so that is great. However, I am AMA so I would rather know if there is an issue. I decided to also to the verify prenatal test. It is a blood test on me and it tests for trisomy 13, 18, 21, turner's, kleinfelter's, and jacob's syndromes. It also gives a definitive sex for baby.
But, I had an ultrasound at 12 weeks and they said girl and today we had quite a few clear shots - she is still a girl!!!
Try not to worry concerning age. I am 39. I was told of all the risks. I was then told that since I am in good health, the risk is lower than someone young in poor health. I did worry until I got the results of the Harmony test - and it all returned perfect. I am confident you will have continued great news.
