I woke up early early this morning feeling achy: low back pain, weird crampiness, and overall blah. I was getting myself worked up that they were contractions, so I didn't get any sleep. I'm still achy today, but oddly enough it's worse when I'm sitting or lying down. So annoying. I think if it persists I'm going to call my OB tomorrow. I don't think they're contractions, but the back ache in the morning came and went in waves. I'm assuming it's just a baby growth spurt, but this is all new to me so who knows. *end whine session here*

Anyone else experiencing increased crampiness/achiness?

Ugh I'm sorry Hun, I hope you get to feeling better.. I would say you're just getting to the point in pregnancy where things start hurting and the aches and pains really kick in, Def call your Dr tho if you feel like it could be constractions causing you to be uncomfortable!

I agree with D&K. Also, we are getting to the point where we need serious water intake and dehydration can cause contractions. I tend to wake up feeling like that because I don't drink as much in the evenings. Try keeping a big glass of water by your bed and taking a drink when you get up to go to the bathroom.

I've been feeling this way too. Hopefully it is just aches & pains of a growing baby & uterus. I think I'm just starting to get more uncomfortable. Hopefully that's all it is with you too!!

I agree with zkat. I had back aches/early contractions with ds1 so that I ended up calling the dr. She said to take it easy & drink plenty of water. Therefore I've always been sure to up my intake of water during my pregnancies. Whenever I start feeling bad its usually because I didn't drink enough water.

I feel crampy sometimes too. Usually if I drink a bottle of water it goes away.
