Im not sure what my midwives offer this time. I am sure we will discuss it at my next appointment. My last midwives did a breakfast much easier on my stomach and no passing out.

I don't have mine scheduled yet but I do have an appt with my dr this week, and maybe he will mention it then. I had my other babies with different doctors... so I don't know exactly how he goes about it.

I did mine this past weekend. I don't have any issues with the drink, and I enjoyed the hour of peace and quiet I got while sitting in a nearly empty waiting room reading my Kindle while DH stayed home with the kids.

Mine's orange. And I don't know where it is...I think in my car?

I had to do this test twice with Alex. Honestly, it's not the best of drinks but it is not so terrible if you drink it very cold and fast.

I went and did mine this last friday. It wasn't as bad as I thought. I didn't get a choice on flavors...they gave me Orange, and it helped a lot that it was really cold and I was soooo thirsty!!
They told me if something was wrong they would call me and if not they would let me know my results at my next doctors appointment.

I just got the lab slip to do mine at my next appt on March 25th. I will probably do the fruit punch again. They keep them really cold, so that helps.. I didn't really have a problem with it last time, hoping it goes the same this time. I do the same thing as Teresa, go to the lab, drink the stuff, go to my appointment and then go back at one hour. Bleh. I was also told not to eat before it. And then not to eat for a couple hours after. Hmmm... I don't remember that being that way last time. But at least my appt is at 915 so I don't have to go hungry for long!

If anyone wants to advocate for the jellybean option, here's a scientific study (I'm going to ask at my next appt)

Jelly beans as an alternative to a fifty... [Am J Obstet Gynecol. 1999] - PubMed - NCBI

I had mine yesterday. They gave me the drink at my previous appointment so I could drink it at home before I went in. I didn't get a choice. Orange. It wasn't bad. Just tastes like crappy McDonald's flat orange drink I used to get at birthday parties as a kid. Haha

No one called me today saying my results were high, so that's good!

Don't remember what flavor I had with DS, but they kept it in the fridge and I just chugged it. I didn't have any issues with it.

I just go my lab slip at my appt last week and am going sometime the week on 3/11.

Try not to worry about it. They give you a cup of sweet soda (although it is flat). Ask for it over ice. You have 10 minutes to drink it. Then within an hour they do a blood draw. Not pleasant. However it it not the worst.
