I was thinking today about this bc this whole pg, I have loved sausage especially with maple syrup. But to be more general: Most meats I have craved. Weirdly enough that excludes bacon which I normally love. Also, bread doesn't do it for me anymore which is equally crazy.

Anyways, what has been that thing that you can rely on to eat even when nothing else is appealing? While we're at it, what's the one thing you used to love and now can't tolerate?

Mushrooms! I want them on EVERYTHING. Last night DH took me out to dinner for my birthday and there were 3 dishes that had mushrooms that sounded good, but the dish that I really wanted that sounded amazing didn't have any mushrooms. The server overheard my dilemma and told me that the chef would be happy to saute some mushrooms to put on top of my dish. The chef even came out to make sure that I was happy with the mushrooms! Normally I'll eat mushrooms but I almost never buy them unless a recipe requires them, and I don't go out of my way to eat them.

As far as aversions, I normally eat chicken 2-3 times a week, but I haven't been able to stomach it since I found out I was pregnant. Eggs too, which is funny, since they come from chickens...

I am actually craving eggs! I have had eggs and toast 3 times this week! That and I have been craving salt and hot stuff. I have tried to be careful with those but I did have some garlic parmesan hot wings and fries the other night and it was AMAZING.

I am having a hard time with pork. I used to love like pulled pork or chili verde but I haven't been able to stomach it very well.

Peaches and Caramello

The idea of chinese food offends me.

I would love to eat salsa, but chronic heartburn stops me

I have also been on salty and spicy and I normally don't do either. I have been going out of my way for spicy things and sad if things aren't as spicy as I want them. I could really go for some spicy panang curry right now...

Beef jerky. I could eat it anytime of day.

I'm having a hard time eating anything with ground beef in it.

Those sugar cookies they sell with different color frosting and sprinkles for each holiday. You know, the soft flaky ones. They are usually in the bakery section. It has to be those ones. Just any old sugar cookie will NOT do!

There really isn't anything I can think of that I don't like now that I used to like.

Those are the best freakin cookies in the WORLD! I have seen recipes for them on Pinterest. I don't know how close they are to the real deal though.

I have been craving Wendy's chocolate Frosties. For the most part my cravings have been coming in waves. Something sounds fantastic to me for a couple of weeks, then I can't eat it for awhile.
