Anyone else feeling these lately? For the past 3 or some odd days I've felt shooting pains in the cervix. I'm like: "Uhmm, no too early for all that and anyways I'm not having a baby through there so don't waste your time, cervix".

Every now and then I get the shooting pains - I call them zingers. I believe it's just caused by the baby getting into certain positions and pressing on nerve endings. I find that if I sit on a hard surface for too long, I feel a LOT of pressure in the cervix area. Not comfy.

I get shooting pains occasionally all in my lady bits. The first time was in my first trimester and I thought for sure something awful was happening and I almost cried. I was at work so I just chalked it up being overworked. I've had them off and on recently and end up walking like I've got a stick up my you-know-what because I can't handle it any other way. I assume it's just the position of the baby and regular pains since nothing ever comes of them. They just about bring me to my knees sometimes, though.

lol, as soon as I read the title a sing-song voice filled my head with "Ha ha! You just got kicked or punched in the cer-vix!"

I remember the very first time my son did that to me. It was shocking!

When Tristan punches or kicks real hard downward I get that same feeling along with the pain of his kick/punch. So I agree its likely babies position or baby kicking or hitting a nerve.
