Saturday I showed a house in the morning then ran errands and went to a bday party for my bff's little boy he turned 2! My MIL then kept dd overnight. Dh & I just sat around and talked. Sunday we went with another couple to the Iowa deer classic in Des Moines. Dh shot a 19 point buck with his bow in the fall and brought it to get it registered in the big buck contest and entered in the record books. It was a lot of walking but an okay time...lots of red necks from all over Iowa! Lol
Nope! Saturday was errands day, grocery shopping, laundry, etc. Did some awesome consignment shopping early Saturday morning, I love it! And Sunday was a do-nothing kind of day. I helped my mom pack some boxes and move them to her storage unit. That was about it!
Spent all day on Saturday at my son's Robotics competition... They did great and will be competing in the western region competition I couldn't walk that night due to sitting in bleachers for 4 hours straight. ugh.... sunday we went to church an out to lunch and then my mom came over to see all of the baby clothes i just bought from a friend of mine AND the carseat and stroller that we bought from her as well!! so excited.
My birthday was Thursday, so we had a family party on Saturday...yummy dinner, cake, board games. Fun times My husband bought me a pasta roller and cutter attachment for my mixer for my birthday. I'm so excited to use it and make my own fresh pasta!
Sunday we built the crib and put the baby swing together. The nursery is starting to come together! Fiona has been playing "babies" with her stuffed animals.
Saturday we went to a pancake breakfast to support the drama club at DH's school. Then he played a video game all day and I relaxed. He made supper that night and we ate and watched a movie together. Yesterday I went to church, while DH played a video game all day. We went to lunch together, and I applied to some jobs for him. He's trying to beat a bunch of games before the baby comes, which is I think is kinda cute We also found our "dream job" last night, so today and tomorrow will be completely the application for that and getting it in the mail.
Saturday we went to breakfast and did all our shopping. Got the kids a new dresser and some new bedding for their room. Sunday we took them to an indoor playground and they had a blast. We were able to tackle some baby shopping so that is pretty exciting. I am starting to feel a little more prepared!
