Henry Wilder, set in stone. Our girl name was going to be Matilda, and I'm so sad that this is probably our last baby because I just feel like our family SHOULD have a Matilda in it! Not exactly a good (and only) reason to go for a third though, lol. Maybe we'll give the name to an animal someday.
Eliza Rose, born 6/9/10 ...and getting a little brother for her birthday! Baby Henry Wilder, due 6/7/13
Henry Kenneth, 100% set in stone. We flipped a coin and my top choice won! Henry was my grandmother's name as well as her father's name. Kenneth is the middle name that the first born sons in DH's family have so (DH, his father, grandfather, etc). Love it!
Our kid is never going to have a name at the rate we're going. My husband just won't commit. He'll suggest something & I'm down with it and then he backs out.
Roman Alexander (which I thought we were 100% going with, but apparently not!)
Porter (no for sure middle name)
Tucker (no for sure middle name)
I really like Brady (maybe Brady Alexander), but he said no.
And then yesterday he suggested Evan Michael, which I oddly really really like (Michael is his first name) and now he says he doesn't know.
Bahhhh. I just want Baby Boy to have a name already!
We are kinda in the same boat as Katie: we have an ever growing list of contenders and if we are lucky, we will have named little miss before we go home from the hospital.
So far on the list:
Cecily (DF's least fave, ironically my fave)
We thought we were pretty set on the middle name being Ann but seeing as we are having a hard time finding names that sound really good with Ann, we have expanded our middle name selection...pretty much we are going backwards in progress lol.
Middle names now:
Ann (DF's grandma)
Joy (my grandma)
Lee (DF's middle name)
My front runners for name combos are Cecily Ann or Mila Joy but, of course, DF has different favorites. His front runners are Everly Ann or Alaina Joy. He has also suggested Anna Lee which would use two of our possible middle names. I like the name, I'm just iffy as to how it sounds with our other kid's names.
Looooooooooove Cecily Ann! One of my favorite names I have seen anyone put up!
We had our boy's name picked out before we even decided to try. His name will be Layne. We were going to go with Layne Michael, but we aren't sure of the 2nd name any more. We love the way it sounds, but it's my SO's father's name, and apart from a Christmas and birthday card, his father doesn't care to be in his life...So we don't exactly want to "honor" him by using his name.
I like Layne Patrick, I just haven't brought this up to SO yet because i'm not sure if he'll like it. We still have time though, and we have the tricky part figured out already. lol
I'm almost positive that our little girl will be Harper Nicole. I still have doubts every once in awhile, but we have not agreed on anything else. At this point it would be hard to change the first name because DD already talks about baby Harper nonstop.
