These are actually for Bourne's vintage car room, but they were super easy. It took me about 3 hours total this weekend and it cost me $30 (instead of $80+ on Etsy). I painted wood letters with acrylic paint and let dry over night, then traced the scrapbook paper to fit onto the letters, which was the hardest part since I failed scissoring 101. Glued with modge podge and let dry. All done!

Bodhi's letters and my nephew Brody are up next.

That looks amazing! painting I could manage but cutting the paper to to fit the letters would have driven me up the wall. Great job!

That took me forever. I am sure someone else that is better with scissors would have finished in an hour.

I did the same thing over the weekend. Only I sprayed adhesive onto the letters then turned them face side down onto the back of the scrapbook paper....then I just traced around them with an exacto knife. My letters, however, did not have a beveled face...the were flat.

It cost me 2.50 per letter. 57 cents for the paint. 3 pieces of scrap book paper to do 6 letters...those were 59 cents each. I had the spray adhesive on hand, but that usually runs a few bucks.

I did it for less than 20 bucks total...6 letters.

Very cute! I haven't done mine yet because she still doesn't have a name lol. I did both my older kids though and it was waaaaay cheaper than buying them!

Those look AWESOME!!! I made Connor's letters for him as well, but I'm so torn if I want to spend the time to make them this time around or not lol. I may not even do her full name because I found this online and seems reasonably priced haha!

Tania - those are so super cute! If Bodhi were a girl, I would have gotten the script letters, too.

And there really isn't much creativity involved. I bet you could do them. Just find scrapbook paper that you like and there they are!
