As far as creating kids with my body... I'm done! But... we are planning to foster and most likely adopt in a few years.
I always said that I wanted 6+ kids of my own when I was older... but my father grew up in foster care and he always said that he went through a ton of horrible homes until he ended up with the lovely, wonderful people who I consider my grandparents. I won't bring anymore kids into the world, but I am going to consider myself responsible for taking care of some of the worlds babies that got shoved into a system that barely cares about their well being.

We are about 98% sure Payson completes our family. But I am not emotionally ready to say this is it for us. So the plan is to get the para guard and see where life takes us.

Maybe one more after this but that one would be the LAST. I never thought I'd see the day when I felt this ready to be done. But I'm also currently pg so I'm willing to revisit the the idea in a few yrs.

This is our last biological baby but we're not set on being done yet.

Like that you are keeping the option open. We did that. Our children are 10, 8 and now here comes Ellianna.

We both would like one more after this. But we will have to see how my health situation goes first... so we will probably revisit the topic in a couple years. I am going to go with Paraguard though and no permanent fixes yet.

I'm seriously torn about this. If this was a boy, then I would have been 100% about having a third child. Now, I just don't know. I think it's still up in the air and we'll see. DH was never fully on board for a third regardless, so that may make the difference.

It's great for me that I don't have to have an answer to this question. We are happy to decide one baby, one year at a time.

Who knows. We were never set on trying until we had a girl and a boy. It's more about if we feel there is something missing to our family. Apparently DH asked about a vasectomy at his physical the other week, which shocked me. I told him that I needed a minimum of a year to figure out. Personally, I'm not comfortable making a permanent decision while I'm pregnant or still hormonal with breastfeeding. So only time will tell for us
