Omg my Crazy Aunt was commenting on every, single, thing I posted. And she would say the stupidest things that made no sense. It was so embarrassing I had to put her on restricted! I have half of my friends list hidden from my news feed due to political rants, like if you care ignore if you don't, stupid gun control sayings, and yes, the animal pictures. I can only see so many pictures from the I love pitbulls fan site a day before I start hating pitbulls. I mean, I post photos of my dogs a few times a week, but not multiple times throughout the day!! I think I might need a facebook break too. That sounds like a good idea.

Political posts, religious posts, like this if you love Jesus posts, complaining posts, airing your business posts, parenting posts. Pretty much everything everyone has mentioned already. I'm pretty much of a do whatever you please kinda person so I hate when people try to shove their beliefs down your throat.

Negative post in general. I recently just deleted over 200 "friends" and I need to do more cleaning. I had several friends who would do nothing but complain about pain or no sleep AGAIN or about how they were Going to kick so and so's butt. Then I had a friend who would post nearly 10 pictures in a row from 15 years ago. And another who would ask "what's your favorite song of so and so's then would post the videos of his replies. ANNOYING!!

I like the attention seeking ho's who post things that are like ":I'm so ugly!" and a picture of them all made up with makeup, fishing for compliments. Like yes hooker, we know you have photoshop!

or the girl who takes a million pictures of just her face making the weird porn sneer/duck face...

and my next favorite is the people who feel the need to "check in" at the gym every time they go. This doesnt bother me if you are just starting out, but if you have been going to the gym at 5pm every weekday for the last 5 years...you can stop checking in.

My sister is a health nut and is always posting whatever the new fad diets are and why they are SO MUCH BETTER than the last one...

I just want to shove a twinkie down her throat.

OMG, the "vaguebooking"!!! I despise that!! It's like they're begging for attention. "I can't take much more of this....." And then they just wait for someone to say "oh dear! What's wrong?" I have a friend that decided to "like" all of those sad statuses. Heehee.

And the DUCKFACE pictures....ahhhh!!! Why in the WORLD do girls think this is attractive and/or that they aren't getting laughed at?! I have a friend in a closed group on fb that shows us her cousin's annoying duckface pictures. I would go insane if I had to see those everyday!

And yeah, the annoying play by play statuses: "Off to go make my bed" or something dumb like that. Haha

That's what TWITTER is for!!!

UGH! The DUCKFACE!!! I hate that. Or just the girls that post a 10 pictures of themselves every day.

I also can't stand this one girl on mine from my HS. She has two kids by different dads and it is a dramafest. But shes always posting relationship "advice" or something about how "God's leading her way" Really?? He led you to cheat on your long time boyfriend and get pregnant by the guy you cheated with...then break up with them both and marry some army guy...then cheat on him with someone in his unit and divorce him...then break up with new army and get with another guy...and then get pregnant by him??? only now this guy has turned around and is bouncing back and forth between her and his other "baby mama"....haha ok sorry rant over but seriously she's like my own personal soap sitcom. I have to had her oldets child is not even 3 yet. the youngest was born in October. I about died laughing one day when someone actually commented on one of her "relationship advice posts" and said "um are you really one to be giving out advice?" I've seriously considered defriending her but then again it gives me something to come home to when I've had a bad day and yell at. or about.

Katie, just the fact that you know all that from FB is entertaining.

I have one mom that talks to her kids in status updates and she is obsessed with forcing them to sleep 14 hrs a day. It just irritates me.

Haha! I know! I haven't spoken to this girl since probably 10th grade. I've lost count of how many times just since the new baby was born that her and the baby's dad have broken up and gotten back together. I know this soley from reading her updates.

I don't currently have my own FB but I used to. I do log on as my mom to check in with family and three of my closest friends (basically to look at pictures they are too lazy to email, lol) but other than that I don't want anything to do with it. There are lots of reasons, the main being privacy in general but the #1 thing that annoys me about FB is..

The one upping! I can't stand when people are on a mission to prove their live is better than others. "husband brought me home flowers tonight for no reason" Daawwwwwwww "Going to the mall to get a new outfit" Posting what you're eating every.single.meal.of.the.day.. I will say that to post a brag every so often is perfectly fine, I'm happy for them but if someone is coming up with several instances a week of how wonderfully fabulous they have it then one might want to consider that at some point it's less about optimism/gratefulness and more about flaunting/showmanship. If your life is sooo great, then you wouldn't feel the need to brag about it at every opportunity.

The vaguebooking also irritates me to no end bc they are clearly fishing for attention.

Posting about God and then a few posts down is a VERY explicative post...

I could literally make a list of 101 ways I can't stand FB so I'll end it here. I think social networking was a nice idea that originally was fine and now has been taken too far.

Political posts that are just *****ing about this or that.
People who post things about making a parenting post but they try and say they are educating people when really they are forcing their view down your throat. (I have a friend who is very anti getting your son circumcised but will say that any parent that does is a horrible person blah blah blah.)
The like this if you .......... Those drive me nuts.
Friends who whine about EVERYTHING!!!

politics is #1!! I don't get on facebook as often as I use to bc it annoys me. I also dislike people who post business stuff scentsy, 31... ect. on their personal page..GET A BUSINESS PAGE that is what they are there for!!!
I dislike all the if you don't like this _______ will happen. I wish it was just people sharing their statuses and pics not everyone else's statuses and pics. Now once in awhile I don't mind as if I see something REALLY funny I just have to share but all day every day c'mon people!! hmmmm what else.....oh the 'feel sorry for me post' by being very vague and fishing for compliments kind of annoy me. I mean if you had a crappy day just say it 'man my day was really crappy here is why and hopefully tomorrow is better' easy, to the point and you get it off your chest! I'm sure I could go on and on but that is the bulk of it!

All of the above. My biggest pet peeves are the "like if you love jesus, ignore if you worship satan" ones. I also have family members that constantly just post pictures with sayings they think are funny. Also, the political crap really irritates me. So, yep. Just about everything everyone else has said.

LOL I think everyone does at least one of the things that have been posted about, but it's the same as everything else in life, all in moderation! I know I post some of the parenting stuff, but I don't post it ALL the time, and my personal reasons for posting is not just to educate others, but to show what I believe in and how I parent (mostly directed at my in laws and my parents on FB! LOL ) Unfortunately, there's always the person who's trying to shove it down your throat and make a person feel bad for NOT doing things their way.

I guess I'm lucky in the sense that I've either hidden or defriended the people who do the most annoying things. If they are a childhood friend, or someone I see in person often enough, then I'll just hide them from my newsfeed. Others, acqaintences or someone I really could care less to keep up with, I have no problem defriending them! I've done the "facebook cleansing" thing more than a few times!
