For the last two days I have been having some pressure. I would explain it as, I feel like someone kicked me in the vag. Almost like a bruised feeling. At other times, it almost feels like the way it feels when you put in a tampon and it doesn't go in far enough...like its falling out. Sorry, gross analogy. Is this pelvic pressure? I'm afraid that baby is trying to get out :-(

It's pelvic pressure and some people get it while others don't. It also has to do with how you're carrying the baby. I haven't had it in all my pregnancies but I'm having it in this one. It feels like she is stretching and pushing as hard as she can, down. If you lay down and it goes away, then you know it's just good ole gravity. If it continues, I would tell your doctor just to make sure someone isn't trying to escape.

Thanks....I think I'll call my doctor tomorrow. Even if its just to ease my mind. I don't like this feeling at all.

I agree with Rebecca it likely has to do with his position and if he is high or low in your uterus. Keep us posted on what the doctor says!

I currently have the bruised feeling in my pubic bone. It sucks but I'm really hoping that it means she is head down as opposed to a few weeks ago when she was up high and breech.

ditto on what the other ladies said..most likely pelvic pressure and the way the baby is positioned. i had it bad for over a month and now it seems better, i can tell she's in a different position now too by where i feel those kicks ;-) towards the end of my last preg it got really painful and i would even use a heating pack down there. it works! also a warm bath might help too.

I carry low so I'm feeling the same thing. Every now and then I get a punch in the cervix. Ouch
