What time of the day would you prefer to go into labor?

I don't care, as long as it doesn't take 60 hours again!

Early morning. My last labor lasted 12 hours. I want to be able to sleep that night when visitors are no longer allowed.

Maybe mid-evening. Early enough that it won't be a big deal getting my parents here and kissing DD goodbye before she goes to bed. Hopefully my labor won't last for over a day this time and by the time my parents have DD up and ready to come to us, we will have had some time with this little one. Of course, it never happens the way you want it to...

during the day. I have never gone into labor at night, but I think it would make me nervous thinking "should I wake someone up... what should I do, etc. etc"

Evening. I'd prefer the kids be asleep so I have less to worry about and no traffic to deal with.

I don't really have a time that I like best. I've done afternoon, evening and now Zack is scheduled for morning.

Early afternoon. I'm hoping to labor as much at home as possible before going in that way I won't have to be away from DD as long. And it'd be easier getting my mom here

Evening, so I could labor through the night and not have to worry as much about unwanted 'guests' dropping in. The only downfall is that the nurse I had with my youngest (and loved) is a day nurse, so hmm ... maybe I can convince her to just be on call for when I go into labor, lol

Friday after 6:00 . That way I don't have to call hubby home early from work, we have a couple days for him to be with me before he has to go back to work and it is easier to get my kids to my mom to be watched!

Interesting...I've never really thought about it. With DS they just gave us a time to show up at the hospital...with this LO, doesn't matter...especially if I go for Vbac - I'll take it as it comes whenever she's ready.

Hmmm...that's a tough one. On the one hand, I would prefer early morning so by the time baby is born and all the visitors have gone it will be my normal bedtime.

On the other hand, my mom is watching my kids and early evening would be more convenient for taking them to her. That way she wouldn't have to leave work in the middle of the day and the kids would be sleeping for her most of the time.

Mid-morning to early afternoon. I'll have gotten some sleep and something to eat, plus I won't have to wake anyone.

My water broke with Katelynn at 3:40am and she was born at 7:40am. And it kinda sucked because I didn't get much sleep the night before and then had all day David I went into labor at around 6pm but he wasn't born until 3:10am it was awful lol. Everett's was night time but he was born at 10:40pm. I much prefered Everett's time. So we shall see.
