I was on the phone with my mom today when I must have moved wrong and got a sharp, sudden pain on the left side of my lower back. At first I thought it was just a muscle twinge, but I couldn't make it go away - walking, sitting, standing, leaning over the bed, nothing worked. At one point I could hardly talk through the pain. She decided to come over and make sure that I didn't need to go to the ER. She only lives about 15 minutes away, but it's still a drive. By the time she got there, I had gotten comfortable in an arm chair and it was all but gone. All the while I was having BH and getting nauseous and a bit light headed. I thought maybe I have a kidney stone from all of the Tums I've been eating or something, but it has gone from an 8 out of 10 pain to just a tight feeling now. My mom didn't seem annoyed or anything, but she did say something along the lines of "It's going to be a long two months!". I know she secretly loves it, but boy I don't! Scared the bajeebus out of me. In all fairness, had she not been on the phone, I probably would've just told her about it later.
She's going to deserve a medal by the time this baby gets here!
