or just wear the hospital gowns?

If so, would you recommend pants or a gown?

Me personally I hate wearing the gowns. Ive always brought a few pairs of comfy pants and tees. Soon as I get a chance I get my shower and throw them on!!!

I'll take my own gown and a nice robe in case its too cold! But I also have pajama pants and a comfy shirt on my hospital bag checklist too!

I will be wearing the hospitals the first night because I am having a c-section. But I really liked having my own nightgown after showering last time.

Apparently the pj's I have at home aren't good enough. My mother insists we get a new night gown. Haha. I won't be wearing the hospital gown as long as I can help it.

I've normally just worn the hospital gowns with a robe since I have c-sections and the pants would sit on the incision. I'm not sure if I will bring a night gown this time or not. I might pack one just in case but I don't want to get blood on the either.

I'm planning on packing pjs in my hospital bag. I figure I'll want to get as comfortable as I can for my stay, especially since the nurse at the hospital already said the beds are not comfy at all.

I bring my own pj pants and a comfy tshirt or tank top. I like to shower and change as soon as they will let me.

I have two nightgowns that are a little grammaish, but they have buttons in the front to allow for easier breastfeeding. I also picked up the cutest pants/tank set today LOL

I'm a sucker for polka dots.

With Aidan, he scratched both sides of cervix wall plus had episiotomy plus hemrhoids so Dr and nurse kept coming in to "clean" that area so I'll most likely get gowns to wear....saw cute ones at Walmart

I just wear the hospital stuff while I'm there. There's too much mess and blood and stuff going on, and I don't want to mess up my own clothes.

I'm sure I'll pack a pair of PJ's. Whether or not I wear them will depend on the mess factor.

I'll be bringing a night gown and robe which I'll change in to as soon as I shower. Will also bring yoga pants and nursing tank to wear during the day. Depending on how long my stay is. I stayed for 2 days when I had DS. Hopefully they let me go within 24 hrs if everything goes good, I've heard of a lot of women going home the next day.

I took large pajama pants with plenty of room in the crotch for the scary pads for that first day. I had to stay 2 days to be monitored for infection, so during the day the second day, I put on real clothes and, by that time, could switch to thin pads. I still wore the same pj pants the second night just bc that's what I had.

I may pack a gown, but I'll probably just wear the hospital ones. The bleeding gets messy and I don't want to ruin my own stuff. I will have a short robe to wear over the hospital gown for sure.

Hospital one for the firsdt 24 hours when they keep checking that area. After that I like my jogging pant and tank.
