Ladt night I spilled a scalding hot bowl of soup directly on my belly. Worst pain I have ever experienced. I cried like a baby! Today is much better. It has blistered, just hoping it doesn't scar.

Oh, you poor thing! Burns are the worst injury, hands down.

Last year I took a pan out of a 500 degree oven, and then a minute later forgot that I had just taken it out, and grabbed the handle with my full hand. My entire hand ended up covered in blisters and I bawled like a baby.

Heal quickly!

Ouch, that sounds awful! I hope it gets better soon! To help it heal and to help with scarring, you can go to your dr. They would have to tell you if there is anything they can prescribe that is safe in pregnancy. A few years ago, I got sun burn so bad on my shoulders that it blistered big time. Second degree burns. The dr prescribed an ointment with silver in it (silvadine?) that really helped the pain and healing time and I have no scars. Maybe they can give you something like that to help. Not sure if it's safe during pregnancy. They would have to tell you.

I think you're thinking of Colloidal Silver? Silvadine might be the brand name or whatever. Colloidal Silver is usually sold in holistic/natural/herbal shops - technically there's no scientific proof that it works, like a lot of holistic remedies - but unless you're using massive amounts, it's not going to harm you either.

No, this was a prescription burn cream. Had to get it from the pharmacy. Not sure what else was in it, I just remembered the silver bc it surprised me. But it made a huge difference and the dr immediately prescribed it when she saw my burns.
