I have had a bruised feeling in my pubic bone for awhile now but the past couple of days it's so bad I seriously want to cry. I have a sharp pain in my pelvis/pubic bone area everytime I take a step. Sleeping is god awful. Getting up from sitting is super painful. I know part of it is I'm just over being pregnant and I'm being whiny but I seriously don't remember this at any point with my other pregnancies.

Everything I have read points me to Symphysis Pubis Dysfunction and that there is pretty much nothing I can do about it except to suck it up and deal with it. I plan to ask my dr when I see her on Tuesday though...

Anyone else experience this now or previously??

I've dealt with it for the past month or so. It has definitely been worse this last week. Rolling over in bed and standing up from sitting are the WORST! So yes, I literally feel your pain.

yes! some days are worse than others but it's been going on for the past month or so. rolling over in bed is very painful so i'm trying my best to just be content laying on one side for a majority of the night. getting up from laying down hurts. and sometimes standing up from sitting down. sometimes sleeping with a pillow between my legs helps a little bit or using a heating pad. but the pain doesn't completely go away

With DS i never had anything like this
so painful and leads me to waddle even though i still have two months left
argh

I have had this with every pregnancy and have been dealing with it since 10 weeks this time around. So, I totally feel your pain. I have Symphysis Pubis Dysfunction and like you said there is not much that helps. Try and keep your legs together when you sleep (like with a pillow between them) and try not to spread your knees to much. That is the only advice my doctor has given me that has made any difference. I have noticed that if I sit or stand to long it gets worse so I have to change positions often. I have heard some woman have had success with some support belts but they never did anything for me. I am sorry your dealing with this.
