DH is painting Ellianna's room today. Are theme is pretty n pink. Girly (although not frilly). Walls are pink. Curtains are PBK white tiered http://www.potterybarnkids.com/products/tiered-ruffle-sheer-2012/?pkey=e%7Cwhite%2Btiered%7C1%7Cbest%7C0%7C1%7C24%7 C%7C1&cm_src=PRODUCTSEARCH||NoFacetNoFacetNoMerchRules

They need something underneath. I REALLY want a light pink shade with white swiss dot. (Yes, I know that I am not tooooo picky). You would not believe how hard it is to find light pint. I found this one at PBK that would do (no dot) http://www.potterybarnkids.com/products/twill-roman-shade-girl/?pkey=e%7Cwindow%2Bshade%7C9%7Cbest%7C0%7C1%7C24%7 C%7C2&cm_src=PRODUCTSEARCH||NoFacetNoFacetNoMerchRules

It only comes in 64 though and we need 84. Any idea of where I can find ones. I truly do not want to pay $400 per shade (found some custom one for that and it wasn't even the correct pink). We have three window sin her room so about $200 per shade is the limit (after we paid for the curtain).

ERM yikes I have no idea. I just got cheapie roll shades to go underneath the nice curtains in both the nursery and in DDs rooms cuz they block the light better and my neighbor likes to leave her bright porch light on that's on the same side as their bedroom windows. And I know what DD did to her first set of shades and curtains lmao so no way would I spend that much on a shade til they are both older lol

Same here with the cheap roller shades. They're hidden behind the nice curtains during the day, and only come down at night, and they block light really well. Sorry I'm not more help!

Thanks ladies. I really want pink so that I can pull the other curtains to the side and have a contrasting color underneath. I have found whether it be curtains or shade, it is nearly impossible to find light pink. Guess not a lot of people want pink rooms (other than for a nursery).

I think I would look at maybe looking for a light pink sheers for going underneath the curtains for the pop of color your looking for. That's what we did in DDs room and then used a roller shade for at night. She has a purple and pink color to her room so purple curtains with pink sheers underneath that...and you can find nice sheers anywhere even Walmart and target.
