This morning I was getting very short spells of light-headedness. Nothing severe that made me feel like I was going to pass out, and only for a few seconds at a time. I had eaten recently, had been drinking plenty. I have felt fine all afternoon. I haven't had any glucose, blood pressure, or anemia concerns at any of my appointments. Any ideas?

Had you eaten this morning when it happened?

I had this happen last night while cooking supper. Not enough to feel like I was going to pass out, but slightly disorienting. It was weird. I had also eaten and had plenty to drink. I've had it happen off and on recently, I don't know what causes it but I'm guessing just all the extra blood flow and how baby sits on different vessels, etc. I figure as long as it goes away and doesn't keep me from doing normal stuff, I'm chalking it up to being pregnant. If there's a real answer out there, though, I'd love to hear it!

I'm not terribly worried about it. I had no issues today. Thanks for the input. Always something new to deal with.

I totally missed that you had eaten.

My guess would be the blood flow thing. If I stand up too quickly I get the same thing.

I get light headed if I get up too fast or bend down and get up.

It happens to me nearly every time I stand up. One of the NPs at my office suggested upping salt intake. For me it's a low blood pressure issue. But it can also be because of the increased blood volume
