I posted this in the mom of multiple board a few days ago with no response so i was hoping you ladies may be able to help
http://www.joovy.com/p-55-scooterx2-stroller.aspx

Does anyone have one have of these or know someone who does? I have the single Joovy zoom jogging stroller ad love it but they don't make a double jogger only this and I just don't know about it.
I can't spend a fortune on a stroller but really want one that has good leg room for older kids too. The only brands I found that have this are Joovy & BOB and one other but it is like $400 and its not even a jogger.

HELP PLEASE!!

I got the Schwinn Turismo Double Jogger. Its very nice...it does however take up a lot of trunk space. Mine was almost 300 after tax.
I did choose mine after playing around with several different joggers and the BOB was too expensive. So that's all I can honestly say.

I don't know about that one but the baby trend jogger has a lot of leg room. My son is 41 inches and we can close the canopy on it - something that we found only worked with the bob strollers!

Yes it is.

Oh and when I say 'leg room' I mean the vertical distance between where they sit and where they put their feet. I have found that most are so short that for kids 2+ their little legs would be so cramped. My kids will all be pretty tall so that is why it is a concern.

I looked at those too when i got dd's stroller and recently for a double and the leg room seemed so short compared to the Joovy I have now

How does your dd fit in it?

I really liked that one. It has a lot of storage and it is a great price. I don't know anyone who has it but it looks great!

The canopy - the shade thing on top? Most of them my son is too tall for to be able to close without his head hitting the top but the baby trend and bob strollers not only give him enough leg room but enough clearance to close the shade canopy. The sit and stand he can put his legs right on the ground when sitting in front.

I don't know too much about double strollers as this will be my first experience with one and I am definitely not a jogger. My only thought is that if you're looking for a jogger, those wheels won't do. Otherwise, it looks like a nice stroller, but it also looks like even small rocks and bumps would not be gentle on that stroller if you try to jog with it. I do know people who have BOBs and are obsessed with them. I know they are majorly pricey. Maybe you could find one at a consignment store or sale?
