Is it just on one side? I have the same thing but just on my right side. They said if it only happens after I eat greasy foods, it could be my gall bladder. In my case, it happened anytime I ate anything and it turns out, it is just stretching and no room for food in my stomach. It's only on my right side because that's right where her feet are.

As long as you don't also notice sudden swelling, or a bad headache that won't go away or blurriness or spots interfering with your vision it's probably just because everything's all squished up there. My doctor says upper abdominal pain can be associated with pre-e, but pre-e is usually also comes with other symptoms as well.
