How is it going for you? I have the home course that I got when I was pregnant with DD. I didn't prepare with it as much as I should have and when my labor turned into a nightmare, I forgot everything. I am hoping to do better this time and to get DH more prepared to support me in it. I still seem to have a hard time with the whole "switch off" thing and I was wondering if it was just me. I know some people are more susceptible to hypnosis than others and I'm wondering if I'm not really, as much as I want to be. Just wondering what others are experiencing preparing for birth with hypnobabies.
I had a hard time with the learning self hypnosis track and the deepening track because I was so hyped about it I would get myself completely distracted and couldn't focus on the tracks at all, I would always end up in my special place. Even when practicing the finger drop through out the day I just felt like it wasn't clicking. So, I moved my tracks around. Usually I listen to the affirmations as I'm going to sleep and do my weekly track shortly after I wake up. So, I did the learning self hypnosis and deepening tracks at night and I would always fall asleep while doing them and I would always wake up when she counts you out. A few days of that made all the difference and then I switched back to my regular schedule!
