I've been trying to find good summer patterns since baby is going to be born during the warm weather. I made the hat a while back, but only just found this booties pattern. It's SO simple and after I made the first one, the second one took less than 20 minutes. I feel really good about having something ready for the baby, even though I think the hat might be a bit big.
OMG when I was pregnant with Alex my "nesting" consisted of me knitting endless amounts of little hats and booties. Just blue and green booties every where. I don't think he actually every wore any of them. The booties definitely didn't fit him (too tiny).
They were a lot of fun to make, though and kept my mind/hands busy
It's not hard. Crochet is a heck of a lot easier than knitting. I can't knit to save my life, but my gram taught me to crochet when I was 6 or 7 to keep me busy. It's a good way to pass the time right now since my doing anything that requires physical exertion just isn't my thing. Haha.
Just finished this white hat that I started after the purple booties earlier. It's super quick and it'll be cool enough for summer.. I'll be making matching booties and probably a little flower to go on this hat. Glad I found some super easy patterns that I can whip up in such little time.
