I know I ask a lot of questions. But I have a rash on my forearms and the front of my thighs and I'm unsure whether or not I should bother calling the doctors office to ask if I should be worried about it or not. Anyone else developing some itchy rashes?

I've had quite a few this pregnancy. The first couple of rashes started on my arms (and spread to legs and belly). Now I have one on my inner forearms and back on my belly again too. You could go get it checked out if it's really bothering you, but everytime i've gone they just tell me to take Benedryl (safe during pregnancy) and see if it goes away. it usually helps but it makes me too sleepy so I just try my best to not scratch and ignore it

If it would make you feel better, I think you should call. I hope you get some relief soon

I agree with Tanya--try some benadryl first. If that doesn't seem to help, maybe put in a quick call to the doctor. They may want to check some labs or make sure it isn't the start of PUPPS or something like that.

But on a related note, my skin has been incredibly irritated and itchy this whole pregnancy. No real rashes, but it is definitely sensitive. So you probably just need some benadryl

Thanx guys, If I've been taking Claritin do you think that would work as well? I know it's fine to take durin pregnancy my doctor knows I take it. Should I just take that or actually go buy Benadryl?

I've also had some crazy itchy skin lately. Usually this time of year it starts getting better, but now it's getting worse. No amount of lotion seems to help. Hope you get some relief soon.

I'd go with Benadryl, not Claritin to see if it helps with the rash.
