Look for diabetic socks. I was able to find some months before I got pregnant (my ankles would swell from 8 hours a day on my feet). They normally have no or very little elastic in the ankles.

I wear nursing support socks. They are knee high and tight around ankle and leg. I'm on my feet sometimes 8 hrs straight and will have minimal swelling when I wear them. The day I don't wear them, I'm swelling badly so I definitely notice a difference. You can buy them online at any scrub shop. I use life uniform or scrubs and beyond.
