Apparently 34 weeks is just too late to do a 3d/4d sonogram. We tried today we came across 4 issues:
1) he was behind my placenta since it's in the front
2) he had his face towards my back
3) he has his head in my right hip so he's surrounded by a bunch of tissue
4) he had both arms/hands and one foot in his face
We are going for a free re-do next Tuesday afternoon
We got one decent photo but still not that great.
We followed it with our normal Dr appointment and Trey is now measuring right at 34 weeks with heart rate in 150s. Go for another 2 week appointment and then start my every week appointments which I only have 2 of those before delivery
I hope he cooperates a little more next time! When we had ours, Porter was face down with his hands or arms in front of his face. So we only got like half of his face at most. My husband was mad because we paid for it and didn't really get much out of it. But I enjoyed it and we found out he was breech at that point, so that was helpful! Good luck at the next one!
We paid for this as well but part of paying for it gives us a free re-do
Trey isn't breech but not head down....he's got his head in my right hip and one leg above the other so he's more in a cradle position than breech or head down
It stinks that you didn't get any good pictures. I'm supposed to get a 3d/4d ultrasound next week. I know baby has been head down and facing my back since my 20 week ultasound, so now I'm wondering if it's going to be worth it.
