So what kind of pads did you ladies choose? I felt like a FTM when looking for pads since DS is 5 years old so I gave birth a long time ago. I got the Always Maxi overnight with wings. I will be using the big pads the hospital provides for the first 3 days since I bled very heavy for the first 3 days then it wasn't as bad. Will those be ok? What do you ladies suggest?

I was just thinking about this ... and that sounds about like what I used after my last kiddo. I cringe at the thought, so I haven't actually bought any yet =\

Yeah I wanted to make sure I got the right ones to avoid having to go back to the store but I'm sure those will work, at least I know the hospital gives u pads to hold u off for at least 4-5 days and after that you dont bleed as much so I'm sure those will work

I bought a package of Always Infinity Overnights. I also had half a box of Kotex U Overnight pads from a previous issue. I have read that these have maximum absorbancy without feeling like a diaper.

I can't use Always... they cause me to get blisters on my lady bits. I've bought some of the PH balanced Kotex overnights and longs with wings and some panty liners.

Always Infinity!!! I was very skeptical when someone recommended them last time, but I was super impressed! I have some Kotex big honkers for the first couple of days, but after that the Infinity worked very well for me.

I always buy pads with tampons as some days during AF are heavier than others so I have some always regular, some kotex overnight, and so,e that have wings and are thick.....I may bring a few of each!

I got a small package of the Always Overnites with wings and then a larger package of Always Infinity Overnights and they came with a freebie package of pantyliners lol so I'm set for awhile I think.

This is part of pg that I cant stand. I normally wear tampons so having to wear a pad is horrible for me. I did buy 10 mama cloth pads though so maybe it will be a little more comfortable. I got 7 heavy/medium and 3 light/liners. I don't bleed as heavy since they do pretty good with sucking out a lot during the c-section.

I use the biggest I can find. I bleed pretty profusely for a few weeks, then lightly for another few weeks. After my first pregnancy, I think the bleeding finally stopped when I went back to work at 12 weeks...then AF showed up 2 weeks later (despite BFing and pumping!). I was soooo chafed! This time I plan to use disposable pads for all the heavy bleeding, then switch to mama cloth for the lighter bleeding to avoid the chafing.

I had been meaning to ask about this! I've been using Always Infinity (I've never been able to use tampons) for a long time now and I love them. Looks like I'll just get the overnights with wings and call it good.

I usually bleed for minimum of 6 weeks. I'll probably buy some big overnight ones for the first 3 weeks, and then switch to mama cloth for the rest of the time. I use mama cloth as a tampon backup when I have AF anyway. So much more comfortable!

Kroger's had theirs on sale last week so I bought two packs of overnight heavy flow longs. I'm going to need more pads but I figured 2 packs for the heaviest part of it will work until I can get Always coupons and buy the thin stuff again.

In the hospital, I'll use those ginormous mattress pads they give you cause with DS, I bled super duper heavy the first 2-3 days...like open water faucet status. So gross. But then after that it went to normal period flow for me. So I'll be buying those Always Infinity (overnight?) thin winged pads...I use tampons, but have heard nothing but good things about those pads.
