I know we have posted about this before but I can't find the post.
so...
what is everyone planning on using for baby wash?
Have you used it before?
why do you like it/why did you choose it?

I think I want to use something that is not Johnson & Johnson. I can remember someone I think Rochelle saying they use a wash that comes in a big gallon looking container with a pump that I wanted to look into.

I will use the J&J wash wipes until he can take a regular bath then we use the J&J pink stuff. I can't get enough of the smell and still use it for the girls now.

I will not use J & J because they are filled with parabens and chemicals. They keep promising to change their ingredients but they haven't yet and I saw something about they will slowly phase out the carcinogens by 2015. Really?

I am going to use Babyganics because my friend got me a bunch from there. BabyGanics - Safe, Effective, Natural Household Solutions

Then, I want to use Dr. Bronner's baby soaps. You can buy this by the gallon and use it as body wash, shampoo, etc. Dr. Bronner's Magic Soaps Retail Store: Baby Mild Liquid Soap

I have Baby Magic (love the smell) for at home, and then some travel size Burt's Bees and Honest Company for in the diaper bag. I haven't tried either one yet, though. I looked into California Baby, but it was just too expensive for me.

I believe the big jug was castille soap? Not exactly sure what brand ... Dr. Bronners, or something like that maybe?

^heh, looks like I was too slow in answering

I use Aveeno baby wash and shampoo. My DD has extremely sensitive skin and the Aveeno line are the only products I've found that don't irritate her skin. Since I have to use the soap/shampoo/lotion on her, it's just easier for me to use it on all 3 kids.

I used the peach colored J&J with DD and loved it. I got a bottle of Baby Magic this time as I love the smell of it. I've had non problem using J&J on DD who has sensitive skin....I have tried various natural products on her and she always ends up with a rash. Only J&J and BabyMagic have never given her any rashes of the ones I've tried. (Haven't tried Aveeno tho but I do know they have a eczema cream that is then only thing that clears up DDs rashes quickly)

CA baby here. We used it with Bourne. I don't like all the chemicals in J&J and I will not support a company that puts known carcinogens in their baby products. The skin absorbs all those chemicals nd it is even more on n infant.

The CA baby is expensive, but one bottle lasted us a long time. Same on the diaper rash cream. I think I bought maybe 2 of each his firstb18 months or so.

We haven't bought anything yet and will be using the little travel sizes that we got at my baby shower until we decide exactly what we want to use. All of the stuff we got is J&J.

I think the dr. Bronner was the stuff I saw before. I love the smell of j&j so much so I was hoping to find something that smelled good too. Keep the comments coming!!

I don't plan on using J and J either. Although people have given us a ton of bottles of it. I have sensitive skin and that stuff is harsh on my skin so I'm sure if I react to it then the babies have a chance of reacting as well.

So far I have two big things of burts bees. I want some CA baby and I LOVE muestla but it is SO expensive. I've used it on a bunch of kids I nanny.

We used J&J with DS, but this time I'm switching over to Aveeno for her bath time stuff and lotion. We also used Magic lotion for DS and liked it...we'll prob keep travel size of that in her bag...for DH really, he loves that stuff =)

I knew J&J had tons of chemicals and known carcinogens in it. I used it on both girls though. I may have to look into the Dr. Bronners stuff though.

I'm pretty sure I've seen Dr. Bronner's in lavender scent. I actually don't really plan on using soap, maybe just a rag to brush off dead skin in the shower or bath. A brush to remove dead skin from his scalp. I have this really great all natural soap nuts shampoo I use on myself that would work fine too. I also like glycerin soaps. Just the bar types.

You can return it to Wal-mart without a receipt for Store credit. I did it after my showers with Bourne and ended up with $65-$70.

Dr. Bronner's does have lavender scented castile soap. Right now I have the almond and it smells like almond extract.

We've also always used the Aveeno baby, sensitive skins and no chemicals....I'm also a non J&J user because of the chemicals they use (including formaldehyde!) We've used BabyGanics/KidGanics for sunscreen, so I'm sure their baby shampoos are just as great, same goes for Burt's Baby Bee line!
