So, for weeks and weeks now I've been taking 3 colace every night due to severe constipation. Only in the last 3 or 4 days has it not worked like a charm. I know normally women see an increase in BM's, not a decrease, but my real complaint is that even after I go in the morning, I still -feel- constipated all day long and nothing ever happens. It's just a semi-constant pressure. Can this just be from her moving down? Or should I talk to my doctor about maybe trying something else for the constipation? I've increased my whole grains, been drinking tons of water, and eating fruit like crazy.
It is possible it is baby putting lots of pressure down there, I get that feeling once in a while and even after I've had a recent BM.
Do you ever feel like you "cleaned out"? Sorry, sounds gross, but do you feel like you still have to go, or that you just feel bloated/pressure? I had about a week awhile back where I was really constipated and nothing seemed to help. I'd go a little, but always still felt terrible. My doctor had me take milk of magnesia, and within a few hours I had gone and felt better.

"Would I rather be feared or loved? Um ... easy, both. I want people to be afraid of how much they love me." - Michael Scott
That's the thing, I still go every day and it's completely normal for me to only go once and I feel cleaned out when I go in the morning. That's why it's sort of baffling to me because normally after that one time in the morning (as long as I feel cleaned out), I'm good for the rest of the day. I can definitely tell the difference between being cleaned out and not so the whole feeling like I still have to go just drives me a little batty. Haha. It's just a really uncomfortable feeling, you know?
