I never remember having this with my daughter but I have been sooooo crampy and sore lately. It will come and go and the cramps feel like menstrual cramps. Could it really mean something may be starting to happen? I was 8 days late with my dd and I am not due until June 23rd but I was just wondering if this was normal at this stage? I have an appointment tomorrow afternoon, do you think they will check me if I tell them about the cramping?

It could be that I am still going and going and never resting. I am still working full time and I am constantly on my feet and busy at work. The doctor last time said to just let them know when I wanted to be done work but I could never just stop (I am a teacher and the end of the year is so busy- my 5th graders are graduating, etc.) unless they told me I HAD to stop. I would feel way to guilty.

i was told that menstrual cramps were normal around this time. i had them pretty bad a few weeks ago but here i am still pregnant lol (i'm not due til end of june/early july anyways) they seem to just come and go. if they are more regular for you then it could definitely be a sign of labor so definitely check with your doctor just in case

I've had cramping for over a week now, and I'm a step away from bed rest. My doc said that cramping is normal at this point but doesn't mean anything is imminent. It's just your body getting ready for labor.

My Dr says those are contractions but could either be braxton hicks or the real thing....it's all about the timing of them.

Yep, they are contractions. It's normal to feel them earlier when it's your second child too. Like others said, if there is a pattern and you get more than 6 an hour then call
