Anyone believe anything about it's link with delivering your baby? I didn't really think much about it but someone mentioned it to me so I looked up the full moon in December 2008 (when DD was born) and I was shocked to see that it was on December 12th, which coincidentally or not is the day my water broke with DD! This Saturday is the full moon so i'm curious to see how many of us will have babies by the end of the weekend

DD1- waxing cresent
DS- first quarter
DD2- full moon (she was the only one I didn't induce and my water broke on it's own the morning before my scheduled c/s)

I def believe in the moon's effects on us.

Looks like the next two full-moons are May 25th and June 23rd. I'm due June 18th but the c/s is scheduled (kinda) for the 28th.

I'm due on June 23rd, so that works out perfect for me! LOL

The full moon was on May 28th in 2010 (Connor was induced on the 18th and delivered on the 20th) so it didn't help him any! lol

I was born the morning after a full moon, and I was 1 of 14 babies born on that full moon. The maternity ward was so over run that my mother was put in a room that she still describes as a "broom closet" haha.

I never really bought into that, but my stepmom works on a L&D floor and she says every full moon they are packed. I would love to go into labor on Saturday. My doc wants to induce me this weekend or early next week. I'd much rather go on my own.

I've never had a full moon baby before but I'll still be keeping everything crossed that it does something for me this weekend.

I've heard of the full moon's effects but my girls were born either the week before or after a full moon. I am due on June 24th so it will be interesting to see what happens with June's full moon
