So far today i have been having lots of contractions that feel much different than the BH ones that i have been having.... they aren't regular though but several have been super duper strong. I have never gone into labor on my own and was just wondering if you girls have any tips about knowing if it's real labor pains or not.

It makes me think that they might be something to pay attention to because of the location of the pain i feel. it's more on top of my uterus and wraps around in a super tight squeeze and then i feel it in my low back like i need to go "poo" lol . then the sensation stops.

I might be reading too much into this of course but anything i am feeling sends me into ecstatics... ahaha...

Any tips?

Oooo!! As a FTM I have no advice or experience, but it sounds promising!! I'm jealous! Haha. I think I had one real contraction today and I got all excited. I hope this is the beginning for you!

no tips here because I have never gone into labor on my own either but I have heard to try walking when that happens to keep them going. I hope this is the start of something for you! Hopefully someone else can give you some better advice.

Sounds like the real deal. Try drinking some water, laying on your left side and taking a bath and if they don't go away they are the real thing for sure

Mine started off like that, contractions would be allover the place for a whole day but then would eventually turn into reg contractions..with my last id have painful contracttions for for a few hours and then they'd kind of fizzle out then come back I did that for a couple days then finally when into full blown labor.. sounds to me your body is getting ready.. if you wana try to get things going..id get to walking!!!

sounds like the real thing to me too! The night before I had my daughter, I had lots of contractions, then they went away... but she was born the next day!

Watch for regularity and timeable contractions.

I have been having these for a couple days. I think they sound like the real deal! Just have to wait for a somewhat regular pattern. That is what I keep praying for over here... so far I haven't had any luck though. I hope they pick up for you

How exciting! As I am a FTM I didn't have any input, but from what the ladies are saying above, I'm so exicted for you!!
