Had yet another NST and u/s today to check fluid levels and see what we need to do...good news is little miss did perfect on her NST! Best one so far! My fluids have not decreased at all (boo!!!) but they also have not increased since Tuesday. Since baby is not in distress, we are kinda at a standstill. My OB said she feels ok letting me go over the weekend and rechecking everything on Tuesday. She did go ahead and pencil me in to be induced June 3rd. I will be 39 weeks then and my insurance will cover it at that point. She said that unless my fluids start decreasing she doesn't feel comfortable letting me stay pregnant for much longer than that. Of course, if at any point baby is in distress or my fluids are still increasing, we will induce sooner. I really hate the thought of being induced but I hate even more the thought of some of the risks that go along with polyhydramnios. I think ideal situation would be for me to go into labor on my own in the next 10 days and NOT have my water break until I get to the hospital...

If only we had more control over these last few weeks!!!

That's great news. Hopefully your afi doesn't increase and you'll make it until June (or go into labor soon.) I had pokyhydramnios with Jocelyn and one of my others. It does make pushing the baby out easier

Good to hear that things are OK. Sending you all the contractions that I have been getting My doc did tell me today that since I am 3 dialated and 50% effaced that I was perfect to be induced if that became necessary. (Not sure why since everything has been going fine). Anyway, hope you are getting dialated and effaced so that if you need induction it is easy. Hang in there.

Oh I have been having contractions for weeks lol...one of the lovely side effects of having too much fluid: my uterus thinks its at capacity lol. I was up half the night with some pretty painful ones and I really thought for sure my NST would be bad with all the contractions and whatnot...of course, as soon as they hooked me up I had absolutely nothing lol. Also, my dr did warn me not to be too upset if I wasnt dilating much until either my water breaks or I'm in active labor because baby is still floating in my pelvis due to all the extra fluid. No pressure on my cervix means I'm less likely to make a whole lot of progress like I normally would prior to being in labor.
