Just in general feeling a bit wired and anxious this morning. Had a couple mild contractions yesterday, but of course nothing exciting. (I got excited anyway, though) Didn't think anything was happening and then last night I lost more of my mucous plug. I didn't think that was possible with how much of it I lost last week, but I suppose it could have reformed. Then a ton more of it this morning. I looked and saw the tiniest string of dark brown/reddish in it. No real contractions or anything though, even walking up and down the steps. Keeping my fingers crossed! I read up on the membrane sweep and the average length of time between getting it done and labor starting (IF it's going to start) is 48 hours. That'll be around 1:30 this afternoon.

I actually got a little sleep last night so I woke up pretty refreshed, then of course the mucous plug thing got me all excited and wired up. I've already put one loaf of bread in the bread maker and plan on making at least one more to put in the freezer. Then I decided I'm going to make a coffee cake and maybe some pasta to put in the freezer, too. Hoping I don't go crazy today!

Okay. Ramble over.

Fingers crossed for you!!!

I decided mucous plugs are stupid, since i've lost mine multiple times throughout this pregnancy haha

Even if you don't go into labour by 1:30, it's coming really soon but i'm really hoping for you that today is the day

More mucous plug. A lot of it, too. Apparently there is a ton of it in there. Made two loaves of bread, a huge batch of pasta and a double batch of coffee cake. All to go in the freezer. Nothing but a few BH. Looks like little miss stubborn is going to wait til Wednesday.

Dude you will NOT believe the amount of goo up in there. I lost soooooo much of my plug with DD and didn't go into labor until 2 weeks later. I was shocked at how much more stuff kept coming out of me once labor actually started. I remember having contractions on the toilet and I just kept semi-coherently muttering "Oh my god, there's so much goo!" My doula thought that was pretty funny.

hahaha. Yeah. I mean, it started after supper last night, then again before I went to bed (both times at least the size of a silver dollar). Then so far today now it's been 4 times. All at least the size of a silver dollar, and with some in between that wasn't very much. I just can't get over how much of it there is! I keep hoping to see some blood, but nothing yet I was actually worried after the second or third time I had some today, but it doesn't smell or anything so I know it's not anything that shouldn't be happening. Luckily I'm not totally grossed out. I've seen worse things....just not coming out of my own body. Hah.

Well then baby needs to hurry up then! haha. No more big globs today. And pretty much no contractions. Just a few BH and cramps.
