Since it seems there are so many babies just around the corner and all of us only have a few weeks left at the most, I was wondering if anyone was doing anything nice to treat themselves before being at the mercies of a newborn for the rest of the summer.

I had a revelation yesterday that I haven't had my haircut since the first trimester and my eyebrows are starting to look like Bert from Sesame Street. So I texted the girl who does my hair and she has an opening today and is squeezing me in. I am so excited about it. And if I end up making it to 38 weeks with no baby, DH is sending me for a pre-labor pedicure (I just had one a few weeks ago that a close friend took me to as a baby present, so I don't want to go too soon for another). I only do these things for myself a few times a year- there are other things that are just more of a priority- but right now, I feel like I need it and deserve it.

Anyone else? I know we all deserve it!

My midwife wrote me a "prescription" for a prenatal massage and pedicure. She's awesome. I will probably have a pedicure in about 2 weeks since I treated myself to one a few weeks ago. I'd love to squeeze in a massage but not sure if I have the time

I had a prenatal massage and haircut last weekend. Then, this week, my girlfriends took me for a mani and pedi. So, I'm set on the pampering.

Now if I can just get the nursery done. lol

Once i get back to CA, my "pampering" will be kid free time!! I'll be with all my family again and they will basically just take over =) It will be so nice to just decompress and have help/support in the these last few weeks (on Maui we are solo).

So I will for sure be doing mani/pedi with my girls...and we also have a GNO weekend trip planned which I'm super looking forward to =)

Other than that...just hanging and relaxing until baby gets here =)

I'm going for a pedi today with my best friend, then it's off to the hospital tomorrow.

I'm thoroughly expecting needing another induction. I'll know more at my 40 week appointment on Thursday. Last time (between failed and successful one) I went and got my hair cut and styled. This time I plan on getting my hair trimmed and my legs waxed. I'm going to be wearing a lot of skirts after having this baby because all my pre-maternity jeans fell to pieces and my maternity pants are starting to get holes in them.
