I just sent this article to my husband. I would LOVE to have my oldest, who is 12, in the delivery with me. He feels the exact opposite. He feels he can't be himself in the delivery room if she is there. He is afraid if she sees him break down and sob like a baby, she will think different of him. I personally think seeing that side of him might make them even closer. Last time we talked about it, I was in tears and decided we needed to finish the conversation later. So hopefully this article will prompt the convo.
