How do you plan on loosing your pregnancy weight gain?
When do you plan on starting?
Do you think a subforum here in our group would be helpful?

I will be doing some walking/jogging/bike riding and swimming. Its about all my back can handle.
I don't imagine I will start until a few weeks after I have him and I feel recovered enough.
I do think that would be helpful to have a forum in here I do think a private one would be best so everyone feels safe and comfortable to post in there....after all I know I don't like discussing my weight where anyone can see it.

I will go back on weight watchers as soon as they allow - which is 6-8 weeks PP. As well as start back exercising when I feel up to it - for me consists of jogging/running, zumba and other group classes.

A forum would be fun, as well as workout buddies! Maybe 2-3 people, depending on how many participate, who enjoy doing similar activities or are on similar diet plans!

I plan on doing lots of walking, and workout videos like on the Wii and stuff. I probably won't start doing anything until after we get moved, so a few more weeks. I think a subforum would be very helpful. I know i feel more motivated if I have someone to do it with and hold me accountable.

I will start walking as soon as I feel good enough to strap baby to me and push DS in the stroller...for me that's usually about 1-2weeks PP.

Once I'm cleared, I plan on doing lots of cardio and strength training to work my way back to doing P90X like I was prior to getting pregnant. I never finished it so its my goal now to be able to do the full 90 days!

I would love a subforum! I am much more successful when I have someone holding me accountable.

I will start slowly walking in the morning, but by August I will be full blown running again. I really miss running A LOT! I will also get back into zumba

I still haven't gained all my weight back after losing in the first 16 weeks so I'm not really worried about losing baby weight. I have about 3 lbs to gain before I'm back to my starting weight.

Sub-forum would be pretty awesome!
I'm still running/jogging near two miles a day... when I get a go ahead pp I'll pick up on the running and doing more core. Start back off with more strength training rather than cardio and aerobics and then build up over 4-6 weeks.
I'm so ready to be as active as I used to be.

I will start walking as soon as I feel up to it. Last time it was after the first week and it was just gentle, around the block stuff. My Dr. said I am cleared for walking and the stationary bike/elliptical as I feel up to it. She said no running until 6 weeks and no ab work until at least 8 weeks.

I will also go back to a strict vegan diet, I just feel so much better on it and will track on Livestrong.

I think a private subforum is an excellent idea. The Dec. 2010 playroom has one and it has been really inspirational for a lot of women. Besides, nobody understand the difficulty of fitting in work outs and healthy snacks with kiddos than another mom.

I am impressed! I don't know many women that still run this late because it gets so uncomfortable!

I am re-starting an MS diet that is mostly fruits, veggies and lean poultry. So I think that will do it. I am also going to start some light strength training after I get the approval at my 6 week check up.

I will start walking as soon as I feel up to it. I will sort of watch what I eat, but I don't want to calorie restrict like I did when I lost weight before I got pregnant bc I want to ensure solid milk production. DH just started getting into some crossfit (not the super hardcore stuff, just a few short, intense workouts) so I may try some of that out, too. With DD, I was back to pre-pregnancy weight a week PP, even with engorged boobs, so hoping for similar luck this time, but doubtful since I have gained more.

How do you plan on loosing your pregnancy weight gain?I'm not going to join Weight Watchers, but I will wing it with their point system on my own. Also plan to get back into running, zumba, and weight lifting. Thinking to train for a half-marathon in the fall, then do p90x when the running season is over.
When do you plan on starting? as soon as possible! I think in a few more days I'll be ready to start taking a walk and doing some yoga. Will see how it goes.
Do you think a subforum here in our group would be helpful? I post a lot at the Weightloss and Fitness forum.. great motivation!

I'm hoping the sheer fact of breastfeeding and twins takes care of a lot of it. Haha!

Seriously though I plan on walking as soon as I feel up to it even if it is just around the block or cul-de-sac. I hope to do this super early before SS gets out of bed. Then once the babies are 6 to 8 weeks old I'll start going back to the gym.

Jennifer, have you done a half before or will this be your first? It is my husbands favorite race distance.

I'm hoping to continue walking after a week or two. I had to stop running 3 weeks ago- I just couldn't do it but I've been walking 3 miles twice a week. Once I'm cleared to run again then I'll start back slow. My friend and I want to train for another half marathon in November
