Neither of my boys ever really took one, and I hope not to this time around. But depends on baby.

Neither of my boys wanted anything to do with them. I will offer one after we figure out breastfeeding but I wont push it.

I'm not against using them, but I hope to wait until we get the hang of feeding.

I wasn't planning on it, but I think after another week of getting the hang of breastfeeding, i might offer one and see if he likes it, since he's been using me as a pacifier at times, and I would like to just be food LOL

I am not against them when they are little. DD was never huge on them but they were used occasionally in a pinch if she was fussy. Although I chuck them out at 6 months. (Never could stand seeing toddlers with them) and I only got the kind that isn't supposed to mess up their mouth.

As Nicole said, Connor never took one either (nor did he ever take a bottle! he just didn't like anything "fake" LOL ) I don't think we'll offer one this time around, personal preference - I don't want to have to go through the weaning process and I love how all of Connor's baby pictures are just his smiling and silly face, without the paci smack in the middle!

Of course, all babies are different and who knows what may happen this time around, I try to keep an open mind!

Yes I've been using them sometimes on babygirl, only for when shes fussy cuz she's hungry and I have to pee or something. She likes it! DS was never in to it.

Both girls used them and so I'll wait to offer one until we've gotten some BFing down. Madison ditched hers at 18 months but Hailey still has hers and she's 19 months. I think I'll wait a little bit to take hers away since Zack may have one. Its all up to him.

We haven't so far and she seems perfectly content. We will just play it by ear. Both my other kids took them and I would love to finally have a kid that I don't have to keep up with a paci for.

Grayson isn't big on it. He will take it if he is really upset when I am changing him or when we were at doctor appointments, but that is about it. My other kids were completely attached to their pacifiers so this is a nice change

Aidan will take it if he's desperate, but he would rather have the boob. Fortunately, it hasn't caused any nipple confusion. Lillie was insane about hers, so if he doesn't take it, I'll be alright with it. However, I'd rather him take a paci over sucking his thumb.

David and Katelynn never took one but Everett did and he still has one. Once my milk dried up from the pregnancy he started using it more. He was really upset about mommies nummies being gone. We plan to wean him from it when he turns 2. So we will see if Payson takes one not sure if she will or not or if we will need too.

I'll be the odd one out and say that I am HOPING for a baby that will take a pacifier. DD never would but she had a really strong desire to constantly suck and used ME as her pacifier for years. Unfortunately for car rides and other inconvenient situations I couldn't just feed her so this made for very loud and unhappy situations. I'm sure I might regret saying this if i'm ever trying to wean from a paci but I am really going to try to get Alek to take one
