I stick my poor kiddos in front of the TV way more than usual. Usually they watch 2 or less hours of TV a day, I don't know how much they're watching now, but I know it's a lot more than that! I am so tired most of the day and my patience is running so low and they are wild, hyper little boys. I need a nap at least for 45 minutes and I am soooo thankful they are older and I don't have to worry about them getting into (as much) trouble while I take a nap and they watch TV. Thank God for technology.

I had half a glass of wine with dinner one night last week. I was really ready to lose it and I needed to relax. I was happy to hear my midwife suggest to me 2 days later to have a glass of wine, that at full term, one glass was fine. So I broke down and told her I had already had half of one a couple of days before. I also let DD watch almost as much tv as she wants. I just don't have the energy for anything and I was in so much pain after the last time I took her to the playground and was playing with her on the equipment.

I dozed off this morning cause I was still so tired and usually DD sits quietly and plays or watches cartoons but apparently she snuck into the fridge and stole a can of DHs Coke and opened it and drank it. She came to me with half of it down her front and woke me up saying "Mommy I need a new dress I done drinking daddys coke" What?!?! Oh for the love of god so much for not a single drop of soda will touch her lips til she's older It is definitely my mommy fail of the day.

I have been doing exactly the same thing- then going into another room and turning on a fan so I can't hear the cheers, etc coming from the game

I allow my girls to watch as much sprout tv as they want. I've been having a screaming match for two days with my 4 1/2 year old over toys.

Yup, add me to the list of tv watching toddlers! lol Connor usually only watches for an hour or two in the mornings, depending on errands and doc appts, etc. Lately, I've been letting him watch every time he asks because I'm exhausted, zero patience, and it keeps him occupied and quiet!! Just wish I could find more time to nap!

I confess I am really cranky lately and want to smack a bunch of people. I also confess I woke up with a headache that's made one of my eyes all twitchy this morning. Combined with the funky metallic taste in my mouth and I just want to nap all day lol. But my DD is being a typical 2 year old today and stressing me out and pushing my patience and I think that's making my twitchy eye worse lol. I also am so dang tired of my friends and family asking me if I'm still pregnant every day. And I want to smack the people that keep saying noooo you can't have him until such and such a day. Grrr.

that has started for me too. I hate that people simply contact me to find out if I am still pregnant. And I get so tired of hearing "wow, i bet you are so uncomfortable and ready to be done". Sometimes I think I should just stay in my house and not answer my phone for these last few weeks.

I confess that I ate 4 chipotle tacos for lunch with their hot salsa...knowing full well I was going to pay for it later. It was my celebratory meal for good news at the doctors today (I finally got past 2 cm...now i am at 3.5..not that it means anything.) Oh and I ate 4 strawberry and banana crepes for breakfast this morning. I have been pretty bad today but whatever!

I confess that I keep cleaning the house and getting all ready for her to come, only to let it get messy and then hoping she won't come until I clean it again. God I am so weird!

I'm depressed. I feel like I am the only one here still pregnant.

I never thought she would be a July baby!

Today I am 8 days overdue, my daughter was 8 days overdue and I was at the hospital by now. My whole family is going to be out to camp for the 4th. I thought I was going to be snuggling on the dock with my baby but I will probably be in the hospital.

LOL!

Sorry, I didn't see this post before so my response is pretty late. I would never drink alcohol while pregnant but I'm pretty sure your midwife was correct in that it wouldn't hurt anything. Therefore I find your admission hilarious and I completely sympathize.
