Does your baby sleep in their own crib in their room, in bed with you, or in a bassinet next to your bed?

in her bouncy chair inside of her crib
she likes to feel snuggled i think and as soon as we put her flat within a half an hour she wakes up
i was thinking about getting the fisher price rock n play sleeper but i hate spending that kind of money (our money situation isn't the best right now)

Sometimes she starts out in her bed (bassinet part of pack n play) but she always ends up in my bed.

In our bed. Sometimes in the crook of my arm or on my chest or middle of the bed (we have it "short sheeted" no pillows etc.

She starts out in her cradle next to our bed but she usually spends at least one stretch of the night in bed with us, in the crook of my arm sleeping belly to belly with me.

Eventually...lol...she will sleep in the bassinet (top of the pack n play) next to the bed. She'll hopefully spend about 3 months (Connor hit the weight limit right around that time) and then......I'm not sure. Connor ended up co-sleeping/bed sharing with us, but I may attempt to transition her to her own room & crib...but we'll see.

In the newborn napper attachment to her Pack N Play in our room. I was dead set on starting her out in her crib right off the bat. Clearly that didn't work as planned. She hates her crib. DH gets up for work at 4am. She usually ends up in bed with me at some point after he leaves. He tosses and turns a lot and doesn't feel comfortable having her in bed with us. I wouldn't either with the way he sleeps.

Her official sleeping place is the newborn napper in the pack n play. We are working on keeping her in there. She really likes to be held, but is already getting better about staying in it longer. Last night wasn't too bad. She has ended up spending bits of time in our bed only bc I try to nurse her on my side in bed and we both drift off to sleep. It makes me really nervous, so I may have to stop trying to nurse that way. But she will be in the napper until about 6 weeks and then will move to her crib just across the hall.

Up until last night it was anywhere in the house they would sleep. 9 times out of 10 that meant Corbin was in bed with me. Yesterday we bought an in bed co-sleeper and for right now they both fit in it together so Nolan slept there all night and when DH finally brought Corbin to bed they slept there together.

Does in my arms count? I want to say crib - but that is just a few minutes until she wakes.

Ideally it's in the crib, and some nights we get that ideal. However most nights it's in my arms in either the rocking chair or on the couch. We're trying REALLY hard to get him to sleep in the crib though...

Don't worry ladies they will eventually sleep elsewhere. They have been snuggled next to you for 9 months and that's what they are use to. Enjoy the time where they want to be near you while you can.

Leif sleep in a cradle by my bed. We don't have a nursery just yet anyways. But I love having him by me. I can lay in bed and just rock him to sleep. Precious!
