That's right, it's exactly what you first thought of...DF and I DTD this afternoon while all the kids were napping . It was a bit uncomfortable at first, naturally, but once things got going it was awesome
So nice to have that aspect of our relationship back since he was all weird about it when I was pregnant. I told him he had a lot of lost time to make up for lol.
Wow congrats! I am tore up from the floor up lol!! Poor dh it will be a long time for us
Ditto on this. It's been almost 5 weeks, but I'm still sore down there. And DH watched the whole birth, and watched me get tore up, and he's like terrified that he'll like re-injure me, and told me that he totally understands if it's months before I want to dtd. Thank goodness he feels that way, because that may be what'll happen.
2 weeks 6 days. By far the shortest I've ever waited. With DD, we waited till my bleeding stopped at around 3 weeks. It was excruciating and nothing about felt good. With DS, we waited 4 weeks. It was better but still pretty uncomfortable. But this birth is also the only one where I didn't have any tearing. I had several stitches with my other two so I'm sure that makes a difference.
