I'm playing it by ear. I'm a week pp but I still get worn down in the late afternoon. As long as I am feeling okay, I will probably start walking with the stroller next week. I never exercised after my other pregnancies, but I have been very active for the last two years. I'm anxious to slowly get back to that

I started getting some light exercise at about 1 week pp. Finn and I go for walks around the neighbourhood with him in the tummy-pack almost everyday, in addition to walking Fiona to and from school. Also, I've gone swimming several times - doing some easy laps and light aerobics. I want to start doing some yoga too.

I tried looking up good post c-section exercises today. I want to get those muscles strong again because I can feel how weak they are. Most of what I read recommends waiting until 6 weeks PP though. :/ I suppose that's best seeing as I still have an open wound and infection and all, but still. I'm trying to be on the ball here. I'm still exhausted all day so I don't really know if I'd do the exercises, but I'd like to think I would.

Elise my OB is very progressive about post partum exercise and she was ADAMENT that I do no cOre or ab work or 8 weeks post c-section. She said it can cause some serious injuries if they aren't fully healed.

I did 15 min on the bike yesterday, but need to back off as my bleeding came back today after a week of no shows . We walk around the neighborhood at night with the boys right now.

I've been putting Arthur in the Moby and doing laps around our apartment complex when he's super fussy to try and get him to either calm down or go to sleep (usually I walk until he falls asleep). I'm counting that as my exercise for now. Once we get unpacked and Arthur lets me put him down for longer than 5 seconds, I plan on pulling out the Wii Fit and Just Dance and doing those.

I take walks but that's about it. My dr says no exercise til I see her again which is July 16th. But I feel fine and I know to stop if I feel any distress. However, I'm taking it easy for right now. Hopefully next week I will do some Zumba, maybe modify it a bit. I also have a post partum workout that I might do as well. I do have a 5K to run July 21st that I won't be ready for. Eek!
