I use the Sitz bath (sp?) thingy with almost every bathroom trip. I got a terrible hemorrhoid this pregnancy, especially being laid up in the bed for almost 4 months so it was terrible after pushing. I use the tucks pads as well and spray the Dermaplast down there. The Dermaplast is amazing!!!!
I was not successful in breastfeeding. I didn't try with my first DD, I did with my 2nd and just never produced enough milk. I even took the neonatologist advice (2nd DD was in NICU for awhile) and drank a beer to try and help relax me. I was drinking 4-5 jugs of water daily (the hospital cup you get) and trying to increase my calorie count. I would pump for about 30 min on each breast and first couple of days I got about an ounce in that hour of pumping. I pumped every 2-3 hours as I felt my breasts starting to swell and hurt. Each time the amount was less and less, my right breast stopped almost completely. And finally I was down to just drops and the pumping was awful. Baby just did not want to latch. So it just wasn't in the cards for me and that's okay. She is doing wonderful on a tender care type formula and she is so content after eating. Before she would nurse and then just scream for hours because she just wasn't getting anything.
I was a Triple D by the end of this pregnancy. Even the nursing bras were barely holding these ladies in, haha!! But they are gong back down to their regular full C, sometimes a D on a good day size.
I wish you all the luck with the new baby and that your bottom half heals up quickly!
