My nurse said to put baby oil on his scalp. Do any of you ladies have any experience or tips on what to do with a dry scalp?

Dandruff shampoo works too, but it's not tear-free.

A few drops of baby oil (or olive oil if you don't like the stuff in baby oil) and brush it firmly with a soft baby brush after oiling it twice a day. Anna started showing early signs of getting cradle cap- minor scalp flaking- right out of the hospital. My mom shared this tip with me and it was amazing. The flakes went away in the first two days and never came back. We kept using the oil and brushing to prevent it from coming back. She had a beautiful head.

Lol, I just picked it off of Alex. I needed something to do while trying to stay awake while nursing. I don't think it was very effective, though.
