My heart breaks for her. She has (what I assume) is a constantly upset, gassy tummy. It gets worse as the evening goes on. During the night she grunts, groans, and cries in her sleep. When she is awake she is constantly wriggling around, her face gets red, and she cries. I feel absolutely terrible. Gripe Water helps mellow her out, but doesn't really seem to get rid of the gas. I got Mylicon drops last night. The first dose seemed to help a lot. She slept for 5 hours, which is almost unheard of for her. After her 2am feeding I gave her another dose and it didn't really seem to do much. She fell asleep in her swing a couple of hours ago, but I am watching her grunt and writhe around in her sleep. I have also tried the clockwise belly rub and alternating that with bicycling her legs. That helps sometimes, but not others. Any other ideas?

With Bourne I used warm heat. I filled a sock with rice and put it in the microwave to just barely warm (make sure it's not hot) and placed on his belly. After a few minutes I would bicycle his legs and it usually helped.

What are you feeding your DD? Is she breast fed or formula fed? If formula fed what brand?

Maybe something your eating is the culprit behind making her so gassy?
