this is the third (maybe forth) night in a row that Tristan has woken up at about this time trying to get out his gassy green slime bowel movements. I've seen tiny specs of blood in then twice. ( which sounds like milk intolerance).he won't even nurse tonight. Idon't know if it's the gas or he's just refusing. then it looks like I have mastitis for the second time in two weeks and I feel horrible.. I hate that he feels horrible. I guess it just isn't cut out for everyone, I'm glad we got the first month

It could also be a hind milk/fore milk issue. I am so sorry you have mastitis again. You are a great mom no matter how you feed your baby. Hang in there Hun.

Sorry you are having a tough time. I hear mastitis is awful. Don't stress yourself about BFing. You gave it a great shot!

Don't feel bad. I am about done too. The thrush destroyed my nipples and because I have a compromised immune system, I had to pump instead of breastfeed while we both had to be on medication and she got used to the bottle and barely even wants the breast anymore and I feel like a cow hooked up to a milk machine all the time.

I was feeling really guilty, but decided it wasn't worth my sanity.

Hun don't beat yourself up. You have to do what is right for you and your baby. Hugs to you.

I messaged the local LLL on Facebook and she told me to try a technique for a couple of days to see if it helps anything. I'm going to try it and see what happens, if it doesn't make a difference I will reconsider switching to formula. thanks everyone.
